Two such studies — the NORSTENT comparison of drug-eluting and bare-metal coronary stents, and a fascinating analysis out of Wayne State University evaluating long-term exposure to low levels of both LDL cholesterol and blood pressure — stood out for Cleveland Clinic Cardiovascular Medicine Chairman Steven Nissen, MD.
