“Year after year, our Clinical Research Conference offers invaluable knowledge on the importance of research and dissemination as a critical requirement of evidence-based practice,” says Sandra L. Siedlecki, PhD, RN, APRN-CNS, Cleveland Clinic Senior Nurse Scientist and Conference Chair. “As 2019 marks our milestone 15th year hosting the conference, we have an incredible agenda planned that is sure to offer something for everyone.”

Key highlights and objectives

The 15th Annual Clinical Research Conference will feature 24 oral research presentations and more than 50 poster presentations. In addition, 12 workshops, from advanced to beginner levels, will include themes on statistics, design and methodology.

Conference objectives include:

  • Providing a forum for research collaboration and partnerships between clinicians at various institutions (clinical and academic).
  • Fostering a culture of inquiry through sharing (dissemination) of research (podium and poster).
  • Enhancing knowledge of methodological issues specific to clinical research.
  • Contributing to the dissemination and translation of new knowledge through discussions, networking and workshops.

The event will feature two nationally renowned keynote speakers:

The conference begins promptly at 8 a.m. EST and concludes at 4 p.m. EST. Attendees can choose to attend one or both conference days.
