PNEG Conference Comes to Cleveland

Featuring the theme “Collaborating, Leading, Educating,” Cleveland Clinic is proud to host the 46th Annual Professional Nurse Educators Group (PNEG) Conference in Cleveland, Oct. 3-6, 2019.

An inspirational and informative 4-day event, the historic PNEG Conference is designed to provide professional nurse educators and academic nursing faculty the knowledge, tools and resources to advance their professional development and clinical performance.

Those in attendance will benefit from the opportunity to:

• Identify leadership roles and opportunities in the changing landscape of healthcare.

Topics and discussions for the event’s numerous other presentations and sessions will each align with the conference theme “Collaborating, Leading, Educating.” Attendees may request specific breakout sessions when registering for the conference.

Additionally, as a featured highlight, PNEG 2019 will also offer attendees a first-hand look at the newly opened, one-of-a-kind Health Education Campus (HEC) – a groundbreaking collaboration between Cleveland Clinic and Case Western Reserve University.

The HEC, which just opened this summer, follows a unique and highly innovative interprofessional education model that brings together medical, nursing, dental medicine and physician assistant students to learn in a team-based teaching environment. Tours of the new campus will be held Saturday, Oct. 5 from 4:30 to 6 p.m.

Registration for the 46th Annual PNEG Conference is available online and open through Oct. 2. Continuing nursing education contact hours will be awarded for this conference.

PNEG 2019 will be held at the InterContinental Hotel and Conference Center in Cleveland. The event will open with pre-conference sessions at 8 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 3, with the general welcome/opening scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. The event will conclude on Sunday, Oct. 6 at approximately 11:45 a.m.
