What to Expect

This symposium is designed to give an update on preemptive perioperative nutrition intervention to optimize patient outcomes instead of focusing on replacing nutritional deficits and preventing malnutrition postoperatively.

You’ll witness case-based presentations, discussion and debate from a national and international multidisciplinary Cleveland Clinic team. It will also provide useful updates for clinical decision-making.

There will be a virtual discussion during the live broadcast from Cleveland, Ohio. A live chat, polling questions, and phone-in Q&A sessions throughout the show will encourage lively interaction between audience and faculty.

This unique day, led by Cleveland Clinic General Surgeon, Jeff Ponsky, MD, will be the third course in a series of six Digestive Disease Virtual Symposiums.

Who Should Attend?

Gastroenterologists, hepatologists, general surgeons, internists, fellows and residents, physician assistants and other healthcare professionals.
