Inflammatory Bowel Disease: Updates and Controversies, presented by Cleveland Clinic’s Digestive Disease Institute, will be underway Aug. 7, 2015.

This CME event is the second course in a series of Virtual Symposiums led by Cleveland Clinic General Surgeon Jeff Ponsky, MD.

What to expect

The full-day symposium will focus on reviewing innovation and updates on IBD in both pediatric and adult patients, including:

  • Basic approaches
  • Traditional care
  • New therapies
  • Medical therapy
  • Surgical therapy

Participants can look forward to case-based presentations, discussion and debate from a national and international multidisciplinary Cleveland Clinic team. They’ll also get useful updates for clinical decision-making.

A unique format

A live chat, polling questions and phone-in Q&A sessions will encourage lively interaction between the faculty broadcasting live from Cleveland, Ohio, and its audience.

This symposium is designed for gastroenterologists, hepatologists, general surgeons, internists, fellows and residents, physician assistants and other interested healthcare professionals.
