The new, comprehensive, condensed meeting format will combine the Digestive Disease Institute’s three annual symposia into a single event over six days in one location at a fabulous new venue — the Mizner Conference Center at the Boca Raton Resort & Club. The symposia have traditionally been held independently in separate locations over 10 days.
“Combining the meetings into one location with shared sessions and a shorter time frame will give attendees greater access to a comprehensive range of educational offerings under one roof, along with enhanced opportunities to customize their continuing education to their current interests, needs and areas of specialization,” notes Beth Christoff, education manager of the Digestive Disease Institute.
The programs for Digestive Disease Institute Week will include an array of multidisciplinary sessions with both a medical and surgical focus, organized primarily around the diagnosis and management of various digestive diseases.
The conference will also provide the all-in-one academic offerings of both Continuing Medical Education (CME) for licensure and Maintenance of Certification (MOC) for medical and surgical board certification and re-certification.
Digestive Disease Institute Week is designed for physicians, residents, fellows, nurses, wound care professionals, physician assistants, and allied health professionals specializing in colorectal surgery, general surgery, laparoscopic and robotic surgery, endoscopic surgery, gastroenterology, hepatology, hepato-pancreatic and biliary surgery, and bariatric surgery.
