Cleveland Clinic’s 4th annual Nursing Innovation Summit is an inspirational event designed to explore the many ways healthcare is being transformed through nursing innovation. The day will offer valuable insight into how developing and implementing a successful innovation program can advance a nursing department and elevate patient care.

This year’s Nursing Innovation Summit is being held in conjunction with Cleveland Clinic’s 14th annual Medical Innovation Summit on Tuesday, Oct. 25, in Cleveland, Ohio, and will feature a variety of sessions and presentations by leading healthcare innovators, entrepreneurs and thought leaders. These experts will share their best practice successes and lessons learned – highlighting how seemingly simple innovations can truly transform healthcare. Discussions will include topics such as:

  • Innovation Leadership – Benefits and Competencies
  • Innovation Through Gamification
  • How to Build and Present Your Elevator Speech
  • The Joys of Prototyping
  • Whose Property Is It

Raising innovative ideas and turning ideas into action

All nursing caregivers can find value in this extraordinary event – from nurse leaders to clinicians, educators, quality and care coordinators, researchers and other healthcare practitioners who have a desire to be engaged in advancing nursing knowledge and innovative practices.

“Summit participants in any area of practice will benefit from the rich expertise and actionable information this event offers,” says Cleveland Clinic Nurse Researcher Mark S. McClelland, DNP, RN, CPHQ, who will be delivering the Summit’s welcome and closing remarks. “Our goal is that attendees develop a better understanding of the important role nurses can play in innovation ideation and implementation across the continuum of care.”
