Cleveland Clinic’s annual Innovations in Neuroscience conference is a dynamic event that showcases new developments and advances in neuroscience. In its 17th year, the 2015 conference, which is being held Friday, May 15 in Beachwood, Ohio, will feature presentations from local and nationally recognized experts in the field.

With a focus on diagnostic strategy and therapeutic pursuit, the conference will educate attendees on various diagnostic, therapeutic and technological advances in neuroscience, as well as highlight challenges that are frequently encountered in clinical practice.

Attendees will be empowered to “Resolve to Solve”

Each year, this conference tackles some of the toughest topics in neuroscience. This year’s conference theme, “Resolve to Solve,” offers a combination of optimism and strategy to give neuroscience practitioners an edge in the pursuit of positive clinical outcomes.

“Physician assistants, nurses, occupational therapists and physical therapists will all benefit from the innovations conference as it is designed to pave way to the very latest neuroscience strategies and therapies,” says Kimberly Hunter, MSN, MBA, RN, NEA-BC, Associate Chief Nursing Officer, Cleveland Clinic main campus and Director of Nursing, Neurological Institute, Cleveland Clinic health system. “The conference curriculum will give practitioners the tools they need to provide an enhanced and more optimistic patient care experience.”

Event highlights

The conference will represent multiple subspecialties within neuroscience, and includes a comprehensive and up-to-date overview of clinical evaluation and treatments, research, care modules, epidemiology, genetics, diagnostics and pharmacology.

Leading experts in a variety of neuroscience subspecialties will discuss topics such as:

  • Stroke imaging
  • Substance abuse
  • Pituitary tumors
  • Gait disorders in neurological disease
  • Quality outcomes through connected care

The conference begins with registration, breakfast and exhibits on May 15 at 7:15 a.m. EST, with the welcome address slated for 8 a.m. EST. It is being held at the Building 4 Auditorium of the Cleveland Clinic Administrative Campus in Beachwood, Ohio, and will conclude at 4:40 p.m. EST.
