For more than a decade, this nursing research conference has inspired attendees to conduct, translate and disseminate their own clinical research – research that seeks to advance both patient care and the practice of nursing. The highly attended conference features various breakout sessions and topics that apply to a variety of nursing specialties and practice areas.

Event highlights

Throughout the conference, nurse researchers from a variety of clinical backgrounds will lead discussions and workshops that explore all aspects of nursing research – from getting started to dissemination. A sample of topics include:

  • Considerations in conducting pediatric research
  • Research on violence in the healthcare setting
  • Threats to internal and external validity
  • Tips for writing for publication

The conference runs from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. EST on May 2nd and 3rd, beginning with a continental breakfast and including lunch, at the Bertram Inn and Conference Center. Attendees can choose to attend one or both days of the conference.
