In its 19th year, Cleveland Clinic’s annual Innovations in Neuroscience conference is an insightful event designed to educate attendees about various neurological disorders, from diagnostics to recovery, using a multidisciplinary team approach. The 2017 conference will take place on Friday, May 19, in Beachwood, Ohio, and will feature presentations from local and national experts in the field. Attendees will garner helpful knowledge and information on leading diagnostic, therapeutic and technological advances in neuroscience, as well as the latest on both sporadic and epidemic neurological diseases.
Each year, the Innovations in Neuroscience conference addresses the most pressing topics in neuroscience. This year’s conference theme, “Grey Matters; It’s not all black and white,” sheds light on the many complexities present in the field of neuroscience to offer practitioners a broader perspective to help positively impact clinical outcomes.
“Healthcare professionals from a range of backgrounds – physician assistants, nurses, occupational therapists, physical therapists and more – will all benefit from this in-depth conference as it is designed to help attendees develop a deeper understanding of the nuances of neurological diseases,” says Kimberly Hunter, MSN, MBA, RN, NEA-BC, Associate Chief Nursing Officer, Cleveland Clinic main campus and Director of Nursing, Neurological Institute, Cleveland Clinic health system. “The conference curriculum will give practitioners the tools they need to address the challenges often encountered in clinical practice.”

The 19th annual Innovations in Neuroscience Conference opens on Friday, May 19, with registration, breakfast and exhibits at 7:15 a.m. EST. The welcome address is slated for 7:50 a.m. EST. The conference will be held at the Building 4 Auditorium of the Cleveland Clinic Administrative Campus in Beachwood, Ohio, and will adjourn at 4:30 p.m. EST.
